Beaver can become a nuisance when they start damming water ways and causing floods, and no one likes to watch their expensive ornamental trees and shrubs disappear on a nightly basis. There can be as many as 6 beaver to a den. The male and the female raise the young together. Young beaver will stay at home for up to 2 years before moving out on their own.
