Spotted Skunk

No one likes the smell of a skunk, so when you realize that you have a family that has just moved into your home or underneath your back patio, this can be a very unsettling experience. The easiest way to eliminate this problem is through a live trapping program. Trapping before May is typically the most economical time to trap as you may be lucky enough to trap the parents before the litter is born. Some suburban burrows have been known to have as many as 15 skunks.

Skunks are omnivorous. They will eat anything from garbage to bugs to small rodents. Like raccoons, they seem to have a sweet tooth as well. If you notice little divots appearing in your yard, it may very well be skunks digging for grubs.

If you come across a skunk, stay back. They can spray up to 20 feet and it gets pretty accurate when they have the time and space to take aim.

It is highly recommended that you seek the help of a professional Wildlife Control Operator when trying to solve you skunk problems.
