Stinging insects come in many different forms. The most common are bees and wasps. Some of these insects are beneficial and can used to our advantage. If you have a hive located in a wall, it is recommended that the hive be removed after the bees are removed. Old hives are a food source to other bugs and some rodents and it also tends to attract other swarms as a potential new home.

Yellow Jackets and Hornets are most often treated with a pesticide as opposed to live removal. It is recommended that any homeowner attempting to treat a nest on their own do so with extreme care and caution. If not treated correctly, you could risk disturbing the nest and creating a potentially dangerous situation. Yellow Jackets and Hornets are the most aggressive of the stinging insects and will become very aggressive if given the opportunity.
